Hello, I have a new website hearingdiva.com, to share with any and all people who may have a connection to hearing loss and have suggestions, or problems, living with the challenges of hearing loss.

I am a hearing loss resource specialist. I have worked for NorCal Services for Deaf and HOH (hard of hearing) for the past 5 years. I serve on the Arts Access Committee for the Crocker Museum and have a Cochlear implant for 11+ years. Actually I am a 45 year veteran, dealing with my hearing loss.

I administrate a Refurbished Hearing Aid Program. It is sponsored by the Sacramento Valley Sertoma Club and we have been able to help over 40 people, with low income and hearing loss obtain one or two hearing aids for no cost. Persons, ages 18 and up, that qualify with a recent hearing test audiogram (less than 6 months old)and proof of income (use the federal poverty guide).
